The collection is available online and at Mobilia showrooms from November 14

Contemporary furniture company Mobilia is expanding its roster of celebrity-designer collaborations with a new collection from renovation expert and host of HGTV’s Income Property Scott McGillivray. A combination of versatile and colourful living room furniture makes up the collection’s central offerings, with a selection of modern accessories to accompany the curated look.

The capsule collection aims to create a sustainable, comfortable and enveloping family space. It features the Nash modular sofa, the centrepiece of the collection, a side chair, canvases and cushions—all which rely on rougher materials and textures, darker colours, geometric patterns and durability.

The accessible, relatively neutral colour palette is brightened up with touches of orange and light tones, and simple patterns break up the solid colour blocks to create a casual vibe and bring the entire collection together.

EKONA lamp

The Enoka floor lamp is a Designlines favourite; embracing a modern, minimalist style and featuring a black marble base and two milky glass shades sitting on a steel frame in an antique brass finish.

From navy to grey, through tan and beige, this co-creation reveals the charm of sober colours. “Natural materials such as wool and wood create an atmosphere of solidity that stands the test of time,” says McGillivray.

The Scott McGillivray x Mobilia collection will be available in stores and online from November 14. Explore the full collection at MOBILIA.CA.
