For more than four decades, this hub has stood as the beating heart of Toronto’s design community

Established in 1980 by founder Joab Igra, this pioneering complex was the first of its kind in Canada—bringing together design professionals, showrooms and luxury product suppliers under one roof. What began as a bold vision to unite the trade, Designers Walk has since grown into a landmark destination where ideas, products and collaborations flourish.

Located at the crossroads of Davenport Road and Pears Avenue in the Annex/Yorkville neighbourhood, Designers Walk stretches across five architecturally distinct buildings. Inside, you’ll find an impressive roster of showrooms, design firms, and retailers that cater to every corner of the interior design industry.

In Building 2, Canapy and hd+co pair lush textiles with imaginative interiors. Step into Building 3–4 for space-smart solutions at Resource Furniture and striking wallcoverings and textiles at The Red Carpet & Rug Company. Building 5 is a hub of refinement, home to luxury showrooms such as ProcureHaus, and Atriani, alongside leading architectural and design studios including Philip Mitchell Design, EM Design Studio, and Micacchi Architecture.

Designers Walk is more than a place to shop—it’s a creative campus where Toronto’s design leaders gather, source, and shape the spaces of tomorrow. Even the café reflects this ethos: Café X Bica, a sunlit, Parisian-inspired retreat, offers artisanal coffee and a stylish setting for a midday brainstorm or client meeting.

Whether you’re a design professional on the hunt for the perfect fabric, a homeowner seeking inspiration, or simply a curious passerby, this storied district invites you to experience the best in Canadian design right in our own backyard.
